Privacy Policy

Sobre is designed with privacy in mind. If you choose to leave iCloud syncing disabled, the Privacy Policy can be briefly summarised as:

None of the data you enter in Sobre ever leaves your device.

Here is a more comprehensive list of things that Sobre explicitly does not do:

• Sobre neither asks for, stores, nor transmits any personal data. This includes your name, address, email address, phone number, social security number, or favourite teacher's pet's maiden name.
• Sobre does not require an account to function. However, Sobre will happily sync your notes to iCloud if you ask it to.
• Sobre does not track your usage of the app in any way. I make every effort to make the app as fun and useful as possible, but I will not make any design decisions based on analytics. Nor indeed can I, because there are none.
• Sobre does not ask for your location.
• Sobre does not ask for access to your camera.
• Sobre displays no push notifications.
• Sobre does not require an Internet connection to function.
• Sobre offers no in-app purchases, and does not ask for any form of payment details.
• Sobre does not access any paid content or services.
• Sobre is entirely ad-free.
